PV CYCLE UK hosts final December webinars for PV importers
December sees the final round of PV webinars aimed at importers of PV panels prior to their new legal obligations coming into force on 1st January. As of this date, all UK importers and UK-based manufacturers will be required to join a Producer Compliance Scheme.
PV CYCLE UK will be hosting the final 2013 webinars on 11th and 17th of December – these half hour sessions will enable companies to quickly understand the relevant elements of the legislation, how they can achieve legal compliance and give indications of costs. Key issues raised at previous webinars include the requirement that, from 1st January, all imports of PV panels are required to carry the crossed out wheeled bin symbol and, secondly, the very different regulations that apply for PV panels installed on households and on non-households.
The PV CYCLE UK initiative is supported by the BPVA, the National Solar Centre and the Solar Trade Association.
